What a great night.

October 31, 2010

Had a blast scarring the trick-or-treaters this evening.  Already looking forward to next year.  In all the excitement I almost forgot to share a photo of our pumpkins and peppers.

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Watcher Test Setup

October 27, 2010

I was able to get the pumpkin watchers almost completely done today.  The body frames are PVC pipe and just need a quick coat of paint to be all set.  They are really top heavy so tie down lines are needed at each elbow.

And even more painting!

October 23, 2010

Here are a few shots of what I was able to paint today.  A gargoyle my dad made, the ground breaking hand, and ground breaker Willie the skeleton.

Last night I was able to get the dry brushing done on three of the four cemetery columns.

More painting

October 17, 2010

Lots more painting has been done.  The cemetery columns have been painted black along with the fence pieces.  The inside of the pumpkin watcher heads were painted yellow while the outside was dry brushed with orange.  The hands and ribs were also dry brushed with orange.  Better pictures of the pumpkin watchers will come soon.

Painting, painting, painting

October 16, 2010

Today I was able to get the base coat on all the new props for this year. I also finished off the cemetery columns and added some stone texture to the sides. Tomorrow I will get the columns and fencing painted and start dry brushing everything.  The paint sprayer is getting a workout this weekend.
